Speed Beep allows you to keep using your Macintosh while a beep sound (or series of beep sounds) plays. In other words, Speed Beep offers asynchronous sound playing of system beeps.
In addition, you can select a group of sounds for your Macintosh to beep from at random (if you wish), and you can cause more than one beep to play at once (if your Macintosh hardware and software support multiple sound playing).
Speed Beep 2 sports an easy to use Control Panel interface to allow you to change any of the settings.
This version fixes an incompatibility with the Disinfectant 2.5.1 system extension; I recommend that all users of earlier versions who are using Disinfectant download this upgrade.
Speed Beep is shareware - after trying it for fifteen days, you will notice a message asking you to pay $10 for it. Sending the $10 gets you a secret code disabling the message. Apart from that, this is a fully functional version of Speed Beep, and not just a demo.
Never wait for another beep to finish playing again - download Speed Beep 2.0.6 today!
This is a self-extracting Compact Pro archive (because it is still smaller than a regular Stuffit archive) - just double click on
its icon to unstuff it.
